The short version
TickDock runs entirely on your Mac. It does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information, and it has no analytics or tracking.
What the app reads from your system
- Installed font names, so they can be offered in the digital clock font picker. The fonts themselves are not copied or uploaded.
- The current date and time, to render the clock.
What the app stores
- Your preferences — selected face, colors, toggles — in a private container on your Mac. This information never leaves your computer.
Network access
Network access is used only to check for app updates, to open the App Store when you choose to write a review, and to open this website when you choose Contact or Privacy in the app. No usage data, telemetry, identifiers, or personal information is sent during these requests.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, the name (if you give one), email address, topic and message you enter are sent to me by email so I can reply. If you open the form from the app, the app version is filled in for you; you can change or clear it. Your message is used only to answer you and is never shared with anyone else.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is sending it. Turnstile may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details for that check; see Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy notice.
When you write to [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected], your message and email address are stored only for the purpose of answering you and are never shared with anyone else.
Children
TickDock does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
